Before you get started in posting, it's probably a good idea that you become familiar with some of the background and histories of the lands that the RPs take part in. This world is an alternate universe, very similar to Earth in many ways, but it is an age where steam technology is still the leading development. Victorian fashions are popular, guns are all still hand made instead of mass produced, and thus aren't really an everyday sort of thing to have. Below is listed a brief overview of the 3 main countries, and their interactions with eachother.

Eddalius:
----Eddalius is a fairly small but sturdy country (think our Britain in size). They are the only country to have developed engineering skills in aerotechnology, and thus, the only countries to have working airships. This is a technology that they hoard to themselves, and thus gives them something of an advantage in a military mind.
-----Their government is a mix between what we would consider to be a representative Parliment. People can be elected to the representiative government body that oversees spending of national funds and the direction of the Citizen's Guard. However, those elected are usually those from old money, and have the funds to persuade others to their cause. Overall, the social and economic standing is the same as it's always been- there are the extravagently rich, and the horribly poor, and the working class in between.
-----However, their most notable feature might be their view towards their Royalty. Since the Golden Revolution, where the monarchy was overthrown and the new representative government installed, those unfortunate to be born of royal blood are treated as unwanted pets: they are kept as pets, subdued and- durring holidays- publically humiliated as punishment for the years of extravagent living that the generations of Kings and Queens before enjoyed. Royalty have no power, and are more there to remind the people that they now are in control of everything that used to belong solely to the King.
-----As a note, this means that there also is no nobility who have been left alive ( or at least, no nobility who admit to it). The aristocracy of Eddalius have made their fortune from either the Revolution generations before, or have climbed financial ladders
----- Eddalius likes to be self-contained, and the Eddalians consider themselves to be the most advanced people. To everyone else, this simply means that they appear to be arrogant snobs who try to oppress the other surrounding countries. Therefore, Eddalius has a shaky history with Nevyrn, its neighbor to the south-east. There always seem to be skirmishes happening along the Boarder Wall that divides the two countries.
Nevyrn:
---- Nevyrn, although having more landmass (roughly the size of our France), has almost as many people as Eddalius. A good portion of the south-western edge of the country is covered in rocky desert, and villages in this area are few and far between as the life is a harsh one. Despite this, however, Nevyrn is renowed throughout the world for their naval skills, having some of the fastest sea-faring ships anywhere. To make up for their lack of air-ship technology, they tend to offer the Arians great compensation for comprising an air unit in their military structure.
------In this land, democracy has thrived, and while the basic Parlimentary (citizens can be elected to a representative government) ideas are similar to Eddalius's, the distribution of wealth is more evenly spread, so there are fewer citizens who are notably rich or poor. Many of the Eddalian nobility who survived the Purge fled to Nevyrn. Education of all citizens is stressed in this land, so there are public libraries and schools offered.
------Once more, Nevyrn's main and long lasting opponent has been Eddalius. Usually, Nevyrnians start the boarder skirmishes, and there's a general understanding that, should Eddalius fall under Nevyrn's controll, everything would be better. Overall, however, Nevyrn is more widely respected over Eddalius.
Talianis:
-----The home of the Vulpians, this small island country is located off of the western coast of Eddalius- even so, its people are more at peace with the Nevyrnians. This island is sparcly populated, having its main capitol city and only a few scattered villages beyond that.
-----The people here are peaceful, and focus more on the arts of healing, medicine, and design as opposed to warfare. Their stories are ancient, as are most of their traditions, which are all very closely tied to a nature-based religion. Often times, the coming-of-age ritual for youngsters of age 15 is to take a pilgrimage into the mountains, stay there for two weeks living only off of the land, and if they returned they are welcomed as full adults.
----- Being of a peaceful nature, there are hardly ever fights or skirmishes here, and most of the citizens are of a reserved and quiet personality. There is no distinct form of government, besides an occasional council gathering of the village leaders and the Clea, the woman who acts as the high Priestess and the head healer of the land.
